TradeMarc Tutoring Code of Conduct

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

Applies To:

  • All TradeMarc Tutoring (TMT) users 
  • Live group courses (Zoom) 
  • 1-on-1 private coaching 

This Code of Conduct sets the rules for respectful, professional, and productive participation. By using TMT services, you agree to follow these standards. 

 

 1. Our Community Values 

At TMT, we are building a global network of professionals. We promote: 

  • Respect for cultural and linguistic diversity 
  • Clear, professional communication 
  • Growth through support, not judgment 
  • A safe environment for English learners of all backgrounds 

 

 2. Acceptable Behavior 

All users agree to: 

✓ Speak and write in English to the best of their ability 

✓ Stay focused on Business English and professional growth 

✓ Use clear, constructive, and respectful language 

✓ Respect others’ time, opinions, and learning pace 

✓ Dress appropriately and behave professionally in live sessions 

✓ Participate honestly — engage actively and complete your own work 

 

3. Prohibited Behavior 

The following is not allowed on any part of the platform: 

ⓧ Sharing personal contact details (email, phone, social media) in group spaces 

ⓧ Spam, advertising, or selling of any kind 

ⓧ Disrespectful, offensive, or discriminatory comments 

ⓧ Harassment, trolling, bullying, or targeting individuals 

ⓧ Speaking over others, being disruptive, or ignoring teacher instructions 

 

4. Live Class & Coaching Etiquette 

When attending a live group class or 1:1 session: 

✓ Arrive on time and prepared 

✓ Use your real name or a professional username 

✓ Be polite, wait your turn, and follow teacher instructions 

✓ Avoid multitasking or being distracted during lessons 

✓ Follow up with your learning tasks (pre/post lesson activities) 

 

5. Reporting Violations 

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct:

All reports are confidential and will be reviewed carefully. 

 

6. Consequences for Violations 

TMT reserves the right to take the following actions: 

  • Remove inappropriate comments or messages 
  • Issue warnings for minor infractions 
  • Temporarily suspend a student from a course 
  • Permanently remove a student in cases of serious or repeated misconduct 

 

7. Agreement 

By registering for TMT or purchasing a course, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct. This ensures a safe, professional, and motivating learning environment for all.Â
